Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP)
Policy and Procedures

The Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Act 2013 (WWVP Act) aims to protect vulnerable people, children and adults from harm by providing a high standard of compulsory background checking for anyone involved in working or volunteering in child and adult related regulated activities.

It is the policy of RDA Tasmania to safeguard the welfare and safety of all children and adults who participate in RDA activities or access our services. All volunteers, in all activities relating to RDA in Tasmania, are required to obtain a Working with Vulnerable People Check. Please read the Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Policy and Procedures for more information.
