Working with Vulnerable People Policy
It is the policy of RDA Tasmania to safeguard the welfare and safety of all children and adults who participate in RDA activities or access our services. All volunteers, in all activities relating to RDA in Tasmania, are required to obtain a Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP).
The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 (RWVP Act) aims to protect vulnerable people, children and adults from harm by providing a high standard of compulsory background checking for anyone involved in working or volunteering in child and adult related regulated activities.
Please read the Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) Policy and Procedures for more information.
