Board Member ~ Chair
Stuart Davies
Accomplished Executive, as well as a qualified Company Secretary, has given me a strong governance background, possessing strong communication skills and the unique ability to lead strategic direction that meets organisational goals in a range of sectors.
My previous Board experience includes membership of a range of Clubs and Associations and in particular, I have held the position of National Chair of Australian Community Transport Association (ACTA).
My professional career has embodied the Private Sector, Government Businesses and the Not-Profit sector. I am now a recently retired person having spent decades in Commercial Farming combined with many Corporate roles as a Senior Executive and or CEO.

Board Member ~ Secretary
Madeleine Figg
Madeleine has worked in the legal sector for five years. In addition to her legal knowledge, she brings skills and experience from a number of previous volunteer roles in not-for profit and community-based organisations, including Community Engagement Tasmania (COMET), an organisation based at the University of Tasmania which aims to educate disadvantaged young people in basic concepts of the criminal law, of which Madeleine is a founding member.
Madeleine has a background in horse-riding and equestrian activities, and first learned of the fantastic and important work of RDA many years ago through these experiences. Madeleine has a strong belief in the importance of volunteering within the community and is proud to be able to contribute to RDA Tasmania as a member of the Board.

Board Member ~ Treasurer
Sam Naragala
Sam is a Chartered Tax Advisor, and an experienced public practicing accountant with a demonstrated history of working in the Australian Accounting and Finance Industry. He comes with a banking background and completed his Accounting and Finance studies at both Monash business School and La Trobe University, Melbourne in 2014.
Sam is keen to bring his accounting and finance expertise to RDA Tasmania to perform the role as the State Treasurer. He has both an interest and personal experience in volunteering and community engagement. He is also passionate about ensuring that everyone in the community are empowered and enabled to achieve their goals.
He enjoys volunteering at RDA and has a strong interest in working in an organisation contributing to social change.

EO & State Coaching Coordinator
Claudia Nevah
Claudia has been involved with RDA in Tasmania since 2008. She started volunteering on riding days with RDA Kingborough and also served as a centre committee member in various roles.
She gained her Level 1 Coach accreditation in 2012 and joined the State Board as State Coaching Coordinator in 2013. Claudia was appointed to the role of State Delegate on the National Program Delivery Riding Committee in 2016 and as the State Delegate to represent RDA Tasmania at National level in 2017. She was appointed to the position of Executive Officer for RDA Tasmania in 2019.
Claudia has been involved with horses throughout her life in the Netherlands, England, New Zealand and Australia. She is a mother of two children and her family takes every opportunity to hike and travel.
Claudia is committed to continue her dedication to RDA Tasmania. She supports the Board and assists Centres to comply with legislative and RDA requirements and helps Centres to maintain the high standards of the RDA coaching program which provides riders with a fantastic well-rounded program.
