Stuart Davies

Accomplished Executive, as well as a qualified Company Secretary, has given me a strong governance background, possessing strong communication skills and the unique ability to lead strategic direction that meets organisational goals in a range of sectors.

My previous Board experience includes membership of a range of Clubs and Associations and in particular, I have held the position of National Chair of Australian Community Transport Association (ACTA).

 

My professional career has embodied the Private Sector, Government Businesses and the Not-Profit sector.  I am now a recently retired person having spent decades in Commercial Farming combined with many Corporate roles as a Senior Executive and or CEO.

Donna James

Board Member ~ Secretary

Donna James

A Certified Finance Consultant Donna has over 20 years experience in financial services and the banking sector. Donna also holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management. She is a highly energetic, honest, and forward-thinking professional, who has a proven background in building and maintaining client and business relationships. 

Donna also prides herself on her honesty, reliability and delivering what matters. She truly cares about her community and is passionate about volunteering. Donna is keen to share her knowledge and experience with Riding for the Disabled Association of Tasmania Inc.

Maz Khosravi

Maz Khosravi

I am an experienced senior leader in the Government and private sector, with expertise in optimising operations and business performance, managing risks and contracts, and engaging stakeholders in many industries, including the energy and resources industry and manufacturing & processing industries, sustainable land development. With more than 18 years of global leadership experience, I have a proven track record of delivering various strategic services across multiple industries.

I am confident that my extensive experience and knowledge will be an asset to any board seeking a highly skilled and dedicated member. I have led organisations through strategic optimisation and delivery of a range of strategic commitments, focusing on continuous improvement and risk mitigation. My initiatives have secured a strategic position for the organisations I have worked with, providing them with a long-term trajectory.

Jack Suridge

Board Member

Jack Suridge

Jack is a commercial and property lawyer working in private practice. He has experience in a broad range of commercial and property related matters and brings this expertise to his role on the RDA Tasmania board.


In addition to his legal expertise, Jack brings skills and experience from several previous volunteer roles in not-for-profit and community-based organisations. This includes being a former Vice President of Community Engagement Tasmania (COMET) an organisation which provides basic legal education to at risk youth in the community.


Jack enjoys volunteering with RDA, he believes strongly in the work of RDA Tasmania and has a strong belief in the role of community-based organisations more generally. 

Suzy Levy

Board Member

Suzy Levy

With over 25 years working with businesses in Sydney NWS and the NW coast of Tasmania, Suzy Levy has a background in diverse industries ranging from film & television production, advertising, marketing, employment services to hospitality and agriculture.

Having worked in roles such as producer, production manager, business manager and employment consultant as well as running a family cattle business, Suzy understands the importance quality, safety and customer focus plays in contributing to organisational success and knows how to deliver results.

Heavily involved with Disability Employment Services for ten years, then moving into the mainstream employment service sector, Suzy specialised in frontline service delivery, management and driving positive results. 

Suzy has a Masters of Business Administrations from UTAS and a strong focus on governance, operational fluidity, change management and sustainable business culture.

As a believer of an opportunity for everyone, being a part of a social enterprise is important to Suzy as she continues to contribute to Tasmanian businesses and organisations in both employment and volunteer capacities.
 

Claudia Nevah

EO & State Coaching Coordinator

Claudia Nevah

Claudia has been involved with RDA in Tasmania since 2008. She started volunteering on riding days with RDA Kingborough and also served as a centre committee member in various roles.

 

She gained her Level 1 Coach accreditation in 2012 and joined the State Board as State Coaching Coordinator in 2013. Claudia was appointed to the role of State Delegate on the National Program Delivery Riding Committee in 2016 and as the State Delegate to represent RDA Tasmania at National level in 2017. She was appointed to the position of Executive Officer for RDA Tasmania in 2019.

Claudia has been involved with horses throughout her life in the Netherlands, England, New Zealand and Australia. She is a mother of two children and her family takes every opportunity to hike and travel.

Claudia is committed to continue her dedication to RDA Tasmania. She supports the Board and assists Centres to comply with legislative and RDA requirements and helps Centres to maintain the high standards of the RDA coaching program which provides riders with a fantastic well-rounded program.
