OUR TEAM

STATE TEAM

Overseeing everything "RDA" in Tasmania is our dedicated RDA Tasmania Board Members and Executive Officer. Some horsey and some not-so-horsey, they all contribute through their own areas of expertise and knowledge and work tirelessly behind the scenes to provide strategic direction towards shaping the future of RDA in Tasmania.

The State team also consists of additional hard working individuals in various roles, that help to provide support to the Board and also to RDA Centres, riders and volunteers in Tasmania.

CENTRE COMMITTEES

Each centre has their own Committee of management. All committee members hold non-paid positions and they work behind the scenes to manage their Centre finances, writing grants, fundraising, property management and ensuring their Centre is running in accordance with State and National policies and procedures.

COACHES

Our Coaches all hold non-paid positions. Their coaching accreditation is through RDA Australia. In addition to coaching lessons, they also spend many more hours on planning lessons, rider's goal planning, training volunteers, schooling horses and much, much more.

VOLUNTEERS

And where would we be without our volunteers? The people who help on riding days, our handy people who help with maintenance, our horse feeders, the people who help with fundraising. There are many more roles that our volunteers perform, too many to mention here. We are fortunate enough to have wonderful teams of volunteers all around the State, too many to mention here individually, but none-the-less, they are certainly an integral part of the our amazing RDA TEAM and are key to enabling our horse related programs to run.
