NEWS: Covid-19 NOTICE
22 March 2020
RDA ACTIVITIES SUSPENDED
In everything that we do at RDA, we have always worked hard at ensuring our programs run with a high priority placed upon the health and safety of our clients and our volunteers. With the COVID-19 situation, the importance of maintaining a safe environment for everyone at our RDA Centres has been placed at an extremely high risk level; especially given that many of our clients and some volunteers are already in high risk categories.
Nothing is more important to us than the health and safety of everyone involved with RDA Tasmania, so it is with this in mind and through consultation with RDAA and our RDA Tasmanian Centre delegates, that the RDA Tasmania Board have decided to announce the suspension of our services at all RDA Tasmania Centres as of today, Sunday 22nd March.
Thank you for your support to date through this rapidly evolving situation. Along with our volunteers, we will continue to work hard behind the scenes, in whatever way it is safe to do so, in order to continue to build upon what is already a very positive community-based service.
Rest assured, planning is already underway to ensure our horses have the best possible care during this time.
We will keep everyone informed as best we can of our timelines. Please stay safe and healthy, follow all recommendations from the health authorities and we look forward to seeing you all when we are best placed to operate again.
